the world's so small.. hahaha. i just had to say it. my goodness. so many people, like know so many people. or you see people you havent seen since forever. how interesting.
went for jon chan's "gig" kinda thing just now. it was pretty good stuff! :D many thumbs up for music people! woohoo.
singapore's been good this time round. different, but fantastic! i saw a glimpse of the music industry here and there, i saw a glimpse of the video industry here and there. spoke to people in both industries. boy, it's interesting. i mean, music and television do make the world go round nowadays. as much as people claim that the internet is the fastest and best way of like everything, i think music and television are equally important and definitely more entertaining. or at least to me. (:
meeting people like that, coming in contact with this industry, makes me want it even more. make me even more sure that, this is the path to go, for at least a couple of years. ahh, thinking about the purpose of it, makes me really wonder what the bigger picture is. i am waiting with anticipation, waiting with pure joy, waiting with just so much emotions. wheee (:
see, the world is small because.. first, marvin and willie play basketball together. second, i saw my secondary school senior today. when i first saw him, i thought he looked familiar, so i said he looked like someone from perth. so i told esther about it.
it goes like this.. "esther, don't you think that guy looks like.. hmm, chris or tim? or just someone?...
esther, "ohh.. he's my friend.. "
me, "ooo... i think he looks like someone.. chris, tim or someone.."
so.. i was like.. ahh, whatever lah.. hahaha. so after the thing ended, i met some of esther's friend.. then another conversation went like this..
someone, "so, where do you live? do you live at like, our [esther and his] area?"
me, "nahh, i stay at.. TIONG bahru!"
the senior, "ohh, that's really near my school."
me, "what school were you in...?"
the senior, "queenstown..!!"
me, "WHAT! OH MY GOODNESS, you're john!"
and that's the mini-reunion thingo. hahaha! so we just started talking about queenstown for a while. it's a crazily small world in this big earth we live in man. i must say somehow, this holiday, is the best yet. i met really, a lot of people. even though there were like brief meetings, each of them did bring a little something extra into this trip back. like i've said, this trip back, was different. but really good. ((: i didnt go out like everyday, i didn't meet my friends much, in fact, i probably didnt finish meeting everyone. I'M SO SORRY!! hahaha. i spent heaps of time just lazing around and enjoying the fact that i was doing nothing! WOOHOO. hahaha. i thank Him for all that He's done! (:
